My name is Jane, daughter of Colin and Esther both from my beautiful rainy country, the island of Eire.
I remember the first time I arrived in Pamplona; I wanted to get the next bus out of there when I saw the dark and gloomy bus station but I stayed in the end, I was on my year out of university. Well, I actually stayed for two years before I decided to go back and finish my degree. Then after pensive nights awake in my bed I decided to return to Pamplona because I missed it so much. Now 10 years later I'm still very much here, I even have a ´cuadrilla´!
I live in the centre of the city which is very much alive, people buzzing around doing their lives.
What do I do here? Well after various years of working in the world of English I now work in CNAI. I work on the Libres program essentially, but I also work with primary school children in the summer. I consider myself very fortunate because I love my job and I couldn't ask for a better team of colleagues.
I speak English and Spanish, and I want to learn Basque, not that easy though!
In my spare time I hang around with my buddies I go to the local bars, go dancing, pop of to Donosti for the day to see the beach and have a relaxing dip in the ´Perla´. I'm also interested in International politics, the European Union and world history.
I also love reading and watching ´Sex in the City´ (the series) over and over again.
And I forgot to mention, I don't like football and I would die without jamon Serrano and a pint of Guinness!
